For 2009 Citroën Racing (formerly Citroen Sport) and Citroen UK have announced a prize structure and incentive scheme for competitors within the British Rally Championship’s run C2R2 Cup. The Citroën Racing Trophy UK will reward drivers who use the C2R2 Max with prize money on events and a chance to compete on European events.

The BRC’s Citroën C2R2 Cup, now in its third successful year, allows any C2R2 to compete as before, but drivers of the higher specification C2R2 Max are now eligible for a total prize fund of €42,000 courtesy of Citroën UK.

The BRC C2R2 Cup, which runs with the British Rally 2 class, will still offer class and category points and awards for any make of homologated C2R2, all drivers eligible for nomination to the Pirelli Star Driver competition. The highest placed registered junior driver will also get an automatic place in the end of season BRC Pirelli Star Driver shootout.
