2009 is the launch of a new format for the little pocket rocket C2’s. Citroen Sport has been re-named Citroen Racing and the former Cup has been re-named the Citroen Racing Trophy Ireland, which will consist of seven rounds for competitors in both the C2 R2 and the C2 R2 Max.

The Citroen Racing Trophy is designed to provide a ladder of opportunity for the aspiring competitor to progress to International standard through a combination of competitive events, financial support and technical back up.
